Profile

I am a research associate currently investigating improving access to cervical screening for disabled people as part of an NIHR funded grant led by Professor Sue Sherman.
I completed my PhD at Northumbria ÀÖ¾ºÌåÓý which looked at understanding the information needs of perinatal women and the role of technology support tools for new mothers. Alongside this, my previous role was a post-doctoral research assistant at Northumbria university. This research investigated the implementation of 'Making Every Contact Count' public health initiative delivered by healthcare professionals in a mental health setting.
I completed my MSc in health psychology at Teesside university and my BSc in Psychology at the university of Sunderland.

Research interests

My interests lie in health psychology, with a particular focus qualitative research, digital health and women's health.
